Hi
Im trying to design my own deep V and would like it to look like a Enforcer Super G as from the pics i have seen it looks very cool.
Questions:
1, Where should the maximum depth of the hull be located at the back or can it bee near the front, I have an expresscraft sport 5 and its depth and width are greatest at the back, but it appears that the enforcer has the gratset depth about 1/3 from the front, is this right what differance does it make?
2, Does anyone have an Enforcer Super G that they would be able to give me some measurements off?
I have attached a pic of my design so far,
Thanks,

looks cool! idon't have any measurements to give from an enforcer but i will say that from the bow veiw the dead-rise looks a little shallow, unless this is the way u intended it. when you start building it take pics for us.

if you could get the dimensions of the cross section would be good i have attached a pic of what im after, you will also need to include the distance from either the back or the front from to where the cross section was taken.
the dimensions i have gotten so far from the net are as follows:
Length 46"
Beam 14.5"
Dead Rise 24deg
Thanks

It appears as if no one else can help out so if you could when you have time that would be great.
Thanks.
Thanks.

nzcivic - I too decided to build my own hull taking some design characteristics from the Super G. As soon as I figure out this downloading pictures thing. I'll send 'em. How are you going to make the hull? Wood? Fiberglass?
Mine is a glass over foam hull with the foam removed everywhere except the front end for floatation. I also decided to make the V a little flatter for a little more speed, but it will still go through pretty good chop without hesitation. My hull runs pretty good with a 25cc Homelite. What are you going to power it with?

(Why not just buy a Super G?)
The pride of building from scratch. But seriously - I was brand new to boating in the RC world and thought if I built it myself it would be cheaper. Not really. If I would have known what I know now - I probably would have bought the Barnstormer G - It's a good buy. Anyway the boat is done now and has seen a few hours on the lake - and it's good feeling when someone says "WOW, where did you get that thing?" I can say I built it with my own design with fiberglass.
Yes, the Barnstormers are clones of the G. But, I hear they are built very well. I'd buy one. There's nothing wrong with a knockoff that's done right.

The width of the hull is 13.5", add about .250 for the deck on each side
The keel to the top of the deck at the transom is 6"
The hull from the keel to the side is 6.5"
For the life of me I cannot remember how to read this compass, but I think the angle is either 55 deg or 125deg
Here are some more general pics that my be useful:

Thanks for that it will help a lot.
If you could also please get me the hull angle (eg the V between the two bottom halfs) from the back of the boat and also from the middle. and if you could also include the same angle you have already given me from the middle.
Oh and yes you read the compus right at 55 deg.
Thanks.

Sorry ive changed my mind these are the measurements im after now
i want to know the the deepth of the boat at the deepest point and the distance from the bow at which this occours, also if you could give me the width, V angle, corner angle (same as already given for back) and side deepth.
so basicly the cross section at the deepest point of the hull.
and measurements will be fine you dont need to go to the hassle of taking photos.
Thanks in advance.
