Default D I Y PAINTING

HI THIS IS MY FIRST EVER PAINT JOB PLEASE POST YOUR THOUGHTS GOOD OR BAD ..ITS PEARLESENT BLUE/LILAC WITH RED METAL FLAKE .ANY TIPS FOR FUTURE PAINTING WOULDNT GO A MISS..THANKS WAYNE..I WIL TRY AND POST SOME MORE PICS OF IT IN THE SUNLIGHT
. i have now ripped off my black cheqs off of the rear and have painted it candy aqua blue with red metal flake sparkle

as for the paint i went to my auto hardware shop. i used a paint brand name "Tetrosyl" special fx paint
they have a good rage of candy'pearls'sparkles in many colours its suitable for ceramics 'fiberglass' wood'metal'cardboard'plastic and allmost everthing else it comes in 400ml areosol cans and i found it simple to use

ive still to sand it all down with 2000 grit wet and dry then apply final coat of shinny stuff(i may highlight the slapt on the front but may just leave it at that as i dont want to get carried away painting if u no what i mean .

Wayne, use the advanced mode to help you post pictures. you can also put them in your Gallery. Click on the star at the bottom of your posting where it says "My Models" for another option. Do not do a normal reply, use the reply in the upper right corner, that takes you into the advanced mode.

Maybe a little something to help the drip stand out a little like some minor shadowing. Subtle can be cool too.
I learned a while back not to comment on someones paint job on another site. The person asked for opinions and I gave them. It was a terrible paint job in my opinion, the worst combo of red and green that I'd ever seen. The others thought it looked good but I gave my honest 2 cents. Boy, I heard about the comment that I made!
I'm not that hot of a painter myself, every third paint job doesn't seem to come out right. I got out of trying to do the trick stuff as those boats seemed to be targets.
