The boat is not very well made. the hardware is on the cheap side and the motor is not the best.

There is a thread about boats from China with that motor .

I will see if I can find them and post them for you!

Bottom line if you want a boat, buy a better RTR .

I have one of the boats from this company, thank God it was given to me and I did wast my $$$$ on it.

I've changed everything but the hull and the hull needed work.

Trust me buy something better.

The engine is made by a company in China. It's a weedwacker cut down with a cheap water cooling jacket.

They say it's a 26, I never took one apart to check. I didn't think it was worth my time.

Not a motor you can buy any mods for. The carb has no high adjustment.

if you buy it you are buying a paint job that looks cool, remember black is not the best color on water.

We have these Chinese boats here in Thailand but we have the deep vee version. As has been mentioned before they LOOK great but you will probably be disappointed once you start using it. The engine is a weed whacker type engine that actually performs quite well but is slow. We modify these by porting and polishing, adjusting the timing, removing the cylinder gasket and replacing with a liquid gasket and fitting a Zenoah carb. Once they are modified they are about twice as fast as standard but no where near as fast as a stock Zenoah with a pipe. When you start going faster the next thing to break will be the drive shaft or the bearings in the shaft strut. We replace these with standard 6mm shafts similar to WHH spec and replace the bearings with bushes. You also need to upgrade or drill out the props. We fit prather 275's which have been balanced and sharpened. To be fair, the prop that comes with them is not too bad.
Then, if you head to a place with a few (small) waves and push it hard the hull will start to flex and the paint will chip off. When you examine the hull you will see that in many places the paint is thicker than the fiberglass which is not epoxy but polyester. We re-glass the inside of the hulls with epoxy and chopped strand mat
Now it all sounds like bad news but until you start to push these boats a bit faster than their design spec they are a lot of fun. But here is the best part. If you add up the price of all the mods, repairs and replacement parts plus the labor, you have spent MORE than it would have cost to buy a Super G and maybe even a Team Pro kit from WHH and you still dont have a boat that is as strong or as fast. The catamaran in the picture looks great but the engine is way underpowered for it. A similar sized cat with a Zenoah will pass you as if you are standing still.
We now buy the bare hulls and fit and finish them ourselves with M Boat harware and Zenoah engines.

as said the hardware is cheap as is the engine,however the hulls are ok and i beleive they have had some improvements done recently.id buy the hull and buy good quality hardware and a zen if you can afford one.if not the engine can be modded as also stated but by the time youve done that you could have bought a zen and the zens dont cost much more than they do either.

You probably wont find a website for this engine but it is similar to many that are commonly available. Some of the parts are interchangeable with Zenoah but I am sure your local motor mower repair shop can help with parts and repairs. As for mods I cant help you there I am sorry. For the tuned pipe the bolt spacings for the exhaust manifold are NOT the same as a Zenoah so a manifold to fit may be hard to find.

You go the cheap route you will not be happy.

Find another QUALITY boat. If you want the boat that bad, buy it, but people here are telling you over and over that it is JUNK.

That is one thing that is turning a lot of people away from the hobby. They spend a lot of cash for something that catches your eye, looks good and it SHOULD run good but you find out its worthless and performance is terrible. They spend many hours repairing a new JUNK hull & engine only to get pissed off and quit or buy a QUALITY product like they should have done in the first place.

forget that boat and get the arrow shark hull,then buy a stock zenoah 260 gpum which costs a little more than the one in the arrowshark cat but not much more.the arrow shark ones are nice hulls apparently and the engine is not too bad but at the price your better off buying a propper zen and id also buy good quality hardware too.

[link]http://www.oneillbrothers.com/rcboat/index.htm[/link] if you bought the zen youd get 50 mph from the stock one more with a modded one sound worth the extra $$ you can buy the tunami arrow shark hull here not bad for the $$ this is the smaller hull but should fit a zen and would be faster than the larger hull which theyn dont have in stock as a bare hull but you could maybe order one .
