Hi guys,
I have a little situation here. I have a FSR-O Boat with a Zenoah 26cc motor. When I bought this boat there was no tank
in the boat, it was a plastic bag there instead. But now I have bought a new tank, a 24oz.
My question is how do I connect it to the motor and to the lid on the tank. How should the pipe connect to the tank??
Pls show pictures if you have it.
Thx
Jamie

Hi when you say a plastic bag did you mean one, like this (IV bag in picture)
If it is an IV bag this link will show how to set it up , IV bags are better as they dont get air bubbles and have a lower center of gravity than a tank

indeed. If it came with an ivbag, id use it or get a new one. It can be a little tricky learning to get all the fuel in the bag with no air pockets, but after a couple times you get the hang of it (also depends where bag is located). If i could run one with nitro id have one in my cat as well.

Ok does your engine have the 644 carb or 257 carb as they have different pipe fittings , and the picture of the tank you posted looks like it has silicon pipe, which can not be used with petrol, you will need tygon fuel pipe or another brand of petrol pipe. you can use special pipe clips or zip ties to hold the pipes on to the tank and carb

right the fuel feed from the tank goes to the bottom nozzle and the pressure pipe is the top nozzle next to the primer bulb on the carb. that goes back into the tank . so when you press the primer the bottom nozzle sucks and the top nozzle blows

You will also need a third line so the tank can breath. Uppermost part of the tank to a coil of tube to hopefully keep water out if you blow it over.
As an alternative you can block off the return from the primerbulb and use you finger to prime when you pull the engine over. You then only need 2 connections to the tank, feed to carb and breather tube.

The rubber insert on the stopper (the plug) of the tank needs to be compatible with gasoline too. They sell a conversion kit to replace this piece on nitro tanks with a gas friendly replacement.
