I don't know what a Z260 is...

If you are referring to the Zenoah 260 or 260PUM then it will work with case mods (opening up the case). It gives more low end but takes allot of trial and error to get upper and lower together.

I have 2 that I run. Like Zac said. Had to do a few cylinders before the right combination was found. The low end is great and we are turning over 18000 rpm all day! And take out the stuffing.

talked to o'neil brothers on the ph today and he said he's trying to get a company to make the crank for the zenoah pum260 to just drop in without any modding. withe the correct stroke and fit. he said it's in the works.

Just open the Zenoah 260 crank casing and with a dremel and carbide pear shaped burr, burr out the inside of the cassing and use zero friction drags. I use only full radious cranks on my 260 Zenoahs. Burring of the inside of the crank cassings is realy easy. It will not weaken the cassing. just enjoy taking your time the first time you do it. Donot forget to cover the bearings with tape, as you do not want any of the burred metal debri getting into the bearings !
You will notice two things now with the engine: with proper size propeller, the boat will not die on the curves, and will develope a higher torque.
