Default Need Help On Motor Pick

I am so confused on the motor I should get for the 49” wild thing that I am building. I won’t a Zen. I won’t some power. I wont it to be able to put in some sort of bigger boat later. Think I won’t a clutch and run a water pump. What should I order? Where can I get the best deal?

Hi Harold,

I would go with a stock Zenoah (which can be modified when your ready) which will have plenty of power for boats up to 70".

Probably the best price on motors, pipes and clutches can be found at - http://oneillbrothers.com/rcboat/index.htm (they have pumps and collets too).

Keep us in the loop on your build

indeed being in kissimmee... you are not too far from Tony at WHH (you know where Lake Placid is?). For the price of Tony's mods... its worth spendin the little bit more $ on a mod motor IMO.

OK Thank you all for the advice and help on getting me up to speed on what type of motor and where to get it. I am going to go with the stock Zen with the composite mounts and clutch and a water pump. Harold
