set up help

Default set up help

First time putting the boat together and I need some help. How far up or down I need to go for this strut with a skeg.

Well...that depends. Is this hull supose to run a submerged, sub surface or surface drive setup? What hull is it?

well it is a shallow V and has been run either way.... I guess it is matter of choice. this is the hardware it was suggested for this boat...

Well then its your choice how to mount it.... I run surface drives on my mono's and the stuffing tube comes out of the transom roughly 1/2" above the keel. Determining how high or low you set yours, depends whether you are gonna run it as a surface, sub surface or submerged drive....
