Hi everybody.
Well this is my mono.... I have read all the post about this hull ( in small size...)(this is the original size from the plans) and i believe so far im in a good road to make it.
Please if anyone see something wrong, let me know.
Today i put on some of the hardware....
Hardware details:
37cc OKAY Trimmer motor or Honda 51.7cc
SPD III with Dual rudder
Octura X470
The Hull is less then 4 kilos, at the bottom inside are 2 layers of Polyester and all the wood connections with epoxy.

In the pic of the motor, I see a bearing on the clutch housing, did it have a gearbox on it?? was it a overdrive or underdrive.

Some details
The motor comes from here [link=http://xingyue.us/product_gd.php?id3=323]Xingyue[/link]
I have another one from Honda and one from Okay ( Husqvarna ) and we will see wich one goes better......
The boat with the motor and drive system so far is 8.3 kilos
Electronics and some other parts needed it make it 8.9 kilos
plus the petrol![Smile](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also there is a big problem to find parts here in Swtzerland and i have to order them from Internet because i buy the X470 here for 75 USD
So is 3 or 4 times more than the real cost is.
Steve you have try the 470 on your boat yet??? if yes let me know how it goes ( if your motor goes up to the limit of RPM ) thanks
Vassilis

you might need a bigger porop for that honda motor maybe try a prather 280 or similar,or try one of the ali 78 mm props from here, ive run these and theyre good props but the 78 mm was atad big for my zen so ive reduced the diam, still havent tested that one yet [X(].theres two 78 mm ones mine was the smaller pitch one.the 470 is more for higher rpm motors,i have the x470 on my zen now.

( I mean i can use the s3003 for the garb and something bigger and stronger for the steering.)

Well I try today the boat and all was ok ![Smile](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I get on GPS 33 MPH the only problem is that the X470 is too small for my engine....
Message for Doug:
The boat is perfect.
With 51.7cc ( made in china.)
Octura X470 the XPD III Drive and 1 liter of petrol comes out of the water easy and is very very stable on running ( with 33 MPH )
even on fast turns.
So im the first one test that (72'') so far.
Sory for no video but I was alone and i cant make it all. I promise that week I will make some videos also for you.
Thanks for the great plans.

Looking good,i've always fancied a real big boat.Should be good in the open sea.
Still looks quite cold over there in Greece?
