Where to get AC Model Boat , Laser 45
Hi Guys,
I am looking for a Laser 45 mono gas boat made by AC model boats. Were can I find a dealer for these boats as close to Charleston , South Carolina as possible? I've got a friend who will be there for the Tunnel champs and I would like for him to bring me one of these boats back.
I will appreciate any help.

Lots of luck getting one that soon. Most of the time you'll be on a waiting list for one. www.rocketcityracing.com in Florida is the closest dealer for AC's.

I didn't know that Brian is no longer dealing with AC, good to know for future reference. Now I'm worried that he's on a tight timeline as the Outboard Championships are this weekend.

I would just like to thank everyone who has replied and help so quick to try and set up a deal. It is very unfortunate that my frien was at the end not able to go to the tunnel champs , so I lost the ride for the Lazer. The shipping prices and methods aren't worth wile to ship the hull directly to us here in South Africa. the shipping alone was almost three times the boats price. It seems that it would be cheaper to fly over to you in the states , collect the boat and fly back than to have it shipped.
Again thanks to all the troubles you guys went through , I hope we can do a deal soon. Would love that Lazer here!

maybe you could get together with several people who wnated them and club together for shipping of one larger package.
Might be economical enough for you to do it then.

Thanks for the ideas, We are still working on the shipping thing and have a few options available. So not to worry , we will get our boats here!
