Default Zen piston mod

I wonder if anybody here has lightened his Zen piston as the only mod done to his motor. If I lighten the piston only how much would I gain, if any?

There's a how to over at modelgasboats.com

I believe you'll gain up to 800 rpm with it.

On a UN-MODIFIED engine, gain will be VERY minimal.

It will run smoother tho.

The stock porting specs are more the governor of the top rpm. When engine gets porting work done increasing both HP and top rpm, is when a lighter piston really shows gains.
