hry guys I'v got a homelite 25cc air cooled engine and I whanted to put it in a 55' deep-v but could I use a jet drive for this big of boat,and how fast would it go. Could I use this jet drive, http://www.funrcboats.com/ProductInf...oductid=GR2340

sorry guy after I posted that I saw that it was for electric motors only so what kind of jet drive should I use without spending over 100$

Nothing commercially available for under $400.

You could get creative with some resin and ducting, and make up something yourself.

Jets are not the fastest means of propulsion. The accelerate fast but have no top end typically. depending on the weight of the boat I would think high teens to low 20's tops.

just b/c it says electirc dont mean you cant im useing the 29mm with a nitro in a 31" hull the top speed for that drive is going to be in the 30-35 mph range you can go alot faster with a prop . do also if your looking for a cheap 2 strock pump look at this one https://shop.graupner.de/webuerp/servlet/AI?ARTN=2347
