Default How heavy should my 48inch cat be?

I'm finishing up my hull and it seems kind of heavy its about 7 pounds before i seal the outside with epoxy or fg resin. Is this bad or am I ok?? Sorry about all the questions I am new

Sounds good to me,my 48" vee was arround the same weight.

Ok good thanks! Its just seeming heavy, but I really don't have anything to compare it to since I have never built one
