Default how important is temp?

Hi all, Just wondering what is the coldest weather conditions a nitro motor can be run in? This morning it is 43 degree's but it is suppose to be around 70 this afternoon. Im not really to sure how cold it can go before i cant run my boat? Any help would be awsome, Thanks

ive run in 30* weather where the water was probably in the 20's.... you may just have to put a ziptie on the water line feeding into the head and cut off a bit of the flow so it will allow the motor to get up to temp.

That's a good trick. That 20 degree water must be pretty tough on the prop and the rudder .

years back, buddy and I went to the pond 2 weeks before Christmas. Both of us were running 3.5 tunnels. Water tubes were taken off since the weather was so cold. Oh yea, this was Michigan and it was snowing. We had a blast. So much fun that we went back to the same pond a week later, figured to have more fun. Problem was, the local kids were playing hockey [:@]

Basically, if the water isn't 'solid', then it ought'a work. That certainly doesn't say how well it'll work, but...
