Default A Better Tuned Pipe for a Nitro Hammer?

Hello!

I have a Nitro Hammer. I have replaced the stock .15 engine with the .16 engine of my retired Mega-Tech Wicked Angel (because of a lot of crack on the ABS hull, it is retired.).

This engine works good in my Nitro Hammer.

But the stock tuned pipe of the Nitro Hammer got a problem. The ring with a tiny hole on the middle in the tuned pipe is off, moving around in the tuned pipe, so that the smoke from the engine does not go into the fuel tank.

With this, the fuel tank does not get enough pressure to push the fuel into the carburetor.

Isn't there a better tuned pipe than the stock one that fits into the Nitro Hammer and also that works good for the Mega-Tech .16 engine?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your attention.

you can always just take the fitting out, and drill the hole in the pipe to a size just under the diameter of the tubing, and just stuff the tube directly into the pipe.........

Hi!

Thank you for your response. Then, should I do on the stock tuned pipe rather than another one?

If I have to replace it, which one would be good?

Thank you again.

It should be an easy fix but if you're looking for an alternative and are willing to spend the money, Cooper Pipes has a nice one, http://cooperpipes.com/ .

Hi, Ron & d-lo!

Thank you very much for your response.

I am wondering how the method that "d-lo" mentioned above works. If you don't mind, could you give me an explanation for how it works, please?

Also I have more questions.

1. How can I take the fitting out? Opening the tuned pipe to take out the fitting seems to be impossible. Any ideas?

2. On which place of the pipe, do I have to drill to make a hole?

Thank you very much for your attention.

here is a pipe with the tube just stuffed into it, no fitting. placement for the tube could be right where it's at now, but i don't know what your pipe/fitting looks like, post a pic, and i could tell you what to do with it if you like.........

Hi, d-lo!

Thank you very much for your response and posting the picture.

I have got a problem on my computer, so that I am not able to post a picture for a while.

If you don't mind, you will be able to see some picture of it at http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/boats...-feafures.html

Thank you very much for your attention.

well, it looks just like the miss vegas/supervee pipe, so all you would have to do, is remove the fitting, and drill the hole just a tad bigger, and put the tube directly in it.............
