RE: 1/12 miss bud modification
Yes u can. I've done it. But my boat is still in drydock for more repairs.
D-lo & Misshydro have done some real good mods to their boats.
U should read their threads, it'll give u some ideas on wat to do.
There are more but these r more recent ones. Pls read through as many
of this threads as possible, they have tons of dos n donts that others have
tried out on dis boats.
Hope dis helps.
Cheers

All you need is a complete miss vegas drive , get the pro boat stuff out and install the vegas stuff, the hardest part will be the stuffing tube but with some heat from a soldering iron sould come right out.

RE: 1/12 miss bud modification
I've been alittle bizzy with my Oberto2 and Mopartybobs blackjack..Heres my thread to do a justable strut setup using Miss Vegas adjustable strut, flex cable.rudder..[link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7924686/tm.htm[/link] Here's De-lo thread. If I wouldnt use a alum piece accross the transom. The backend is heavy enought as it.. On My Blue Angel I'll use a piece of carbon fiber accross the transom..It's lighter and stronger..On My Onerto2 I'd made a trunk to get access to the inside to bolt rudder and strut on..Plus re-enforce the transom too.

RE: 1/12 miss bud modification
I thought about changing to a flex shaft for my old straight shaft miss bud, but I ended up leaving it alone. I actually like the straight shaft, it was my first hydro and I hate trying to get the strut height set just right.

its not hard to get the strut hight.. You have better advantages with a adjustable strut..faster speeds..better prop selection to use on it.
