Default No Throttle reaction and Jittery servos

Hello all,

I am having a problem and I have been looking through the other threads and haven't seen this mentioned before. OK, first, let me give you the setup:

TX: Futaba T7CHP
RX: JR RS6UL (negative shift)
ESC: Castle Creations Pheonix 35
Gyro: Futaba GY401
Servo's: Hitec HS-56HB x3
Tail: Futaba S9650 Digital x1
Battery: Thunder Power 2100Mah 11.1v Lipo's

This is my problem, as soon as I plug in my battery, my servos lose their minds!!!! They just go crazy and start bouncing around in all directions. I tried to give some throttle input and got nothing from the motor.

Any idea what would cause my servo's to go crazy? I tried just about everything that I know (which isn't saying much! ) that I can think of to fix this. I am currently in Iraq, and there isn't a LHS or flying club in the area that can help me out.

Can any of you out there help a brother out???

A negative shift jr reciever, I had to look that one up just to check! Learn something new everyday.

My best guess is you have the modulation set to PCM check the parameter menu for MODUL it probably says P needs to say F

If you do indeed have to change it power it off and back on to commit the change.

Also reverse the throttle channel or you will never get the ESC to program or arm.

Barracuda,

Thanks. Right now I just found out that my crystal for my RX was MIA!! Not good, now I have to find another one. Sure hope I don't find it on the internet being held hostage. I will take a look at my TX settings and see if I made a booboo in there some where. thanks for the assistance.

Oh, and trust me, I am keeping my head as low as I can without becoming an Ostrich....LOL!
