Default hanger nine twist 150

Hi mike, great plane, but the model takes the evo 26 motor and it calls for a 18-6 prop, i have the zenoah mounted with a 18-6 prop, the landing gear needs to be alot taller than it is cause there is only about 1/2 inch clearance. Before you say it's to much prop for the zenoah, i have a ddm x-can on it. Lots of power.

Try less diameter and more pitch. Something like a 17 x 7 or 16 x 8

I have the Twist 150 with a Evolution 26 gasoline engine. Found it would not hammer head and the engine leaves lots of black deposits on the plane. Can some one explain? I increased rudder throw to the max. glen mills at [email protected]

What does it do when you try to hammer head? Try setting a higher idle to keep some airflow over the rudder.

The Twist is a good design, Mike. I have the 40 and the 150. I have fitted an OS 120 ax in the 150. It slotted in with no mods and balanced at 6 inches back - no ballast required. All up weight 8lb 8ozs.

Engine pulls a 17 x 6 at 8,800 and seems ideal for the plane - the inverted flat stationary spin makes everyone stop and stare...

Thanks for another good plane.
