Has anyone used k&n air filters on an epic .18

not on that engine, but you can't go wrong with a K&N but remember k&N arn't the best for dusty conditions.

Those K&N filters were NOT designed for RC use. They are actually PVC vent breather elements for a full size car that they are marketing them fro RC. They will not filter properly for the RC engines and are not reccomended.

I take back what i said about K&N on RC cars they are not for RC cars, and K&N even said so them selves. they are for spark plug engines, its just the smallest one they make for weedeathers and suck happens to fit RC cars so every one thought it would be cool to use them on RC cars. Get a Motor Saver if you want a good filter.

yes you cant go wrong with a motor saver they dont look as cool but they work great

motr saver not even that great ... u may get a little bit more power u prob cant even tell the difrence ,, in long run ull have less engine life .. its true motor saver gives more air then the stock filter .. but it doesnt block real small particles ... so use ur motor saver cuz ull get better performance but when u are at a dusty or sand yspot use the stock one ...
