You can get one for like $400, and team associated makes it.

Not to be a jerk on the traxxas forum, but it is a lot better of a truck than the maxx series. Its actually similar to a maxx except its 1/8 scale and has a big block in it. If you know how big an LST is, it has the same dimensions and they are huge.

mate i'd go revo (never owned a t maxx though ) out of the box and after breaking in the revo is super quick, there are many upgrade options available just like a ordinary car. go and read www.traxxas.com in their forums about the revo. you wont regret getting a revo. and the traxxas forum is a great place for questions and answers on anything about the truck. owned my revo for about 6 months before anything broke and i was putting it through hell. and the only thing i broke was an a-arm so i put a set of lifetime guarantee rpm a-arms on and their still going strong. the only thing i found was breaking the engine in, find the time and do it right for a longer lasting engine, i got nearly 12 litres of 33% fuel through it before she gave up so i put on a rb tm 323 engine and now she's even quicker and wheelies on command. need more details let me know.
