game on! took my 3.3 monster truck out for a boot before supper a little cool out 10 degrees, might of over heated ,300 degrees let cool down, richened carb ran for awile seemed great. At what point do you think is too hot, i am new to this game and was wondering how hot is to hot?

havin it at 250 is a great temp. 260 is good to. really nothing over 275 maxx

Also if you ever overheat, spin the flywheel so the piston is at the bottom. You will be able to feel it, the flywheel will spin realy easy at the bottom. I do it after every run.

No need for a temp gun. Just use your ears and look at how the engine is perfomring.
