Default Shock Tower Problems Help

Just out making some adjustments tomy revo and i noticed that the front shock tower was loose were the screw go threw the shock and down into the frame. Do the screws also support the front drive to. Aghhhh so mad just dialed in the whole front end with thes integy a arms and titaniumm linkage. Did i snap or bend the bulkhead with these arms after a little bashing. Why didnt i read this forum befor i bought these stupid a arms. I hope its just a minor problem, should i break down the whole front end again.

Putting on the integy a-arms caused that, I'll never put those on mine. Dutchy929 you live on long-island right. If so do you go to the Southshore Hobby Race Track. I'll be going there when the whether gets warmer. Sorry for getting of topic. By the way what do you have to replace.

Man that sucks. Sorry but I don't have Instant Messenger. BTW, how is the service at Willis Hobbies, and were are they located. South Shore Hobbies has alot of stocked Traxxas parts, just thought I would mention it. Good luck with your Revo.

Try filling the screw holes with CA glue, then insert the screws and let them sit and dry. CA bonds to plastic. Instant threads! If the threads are metal, use blue loctite because it bonds with metal.

How do you remove the front shock tower? Part #5317, I unscrewed the bottom screws that screw it to the chassis but now I don't know if I need to pull on it or slide it back or forward. I'm trying to do the brake pad spring "mod".

You need to completely remove the screws from the underside which go through the differential housing as well as the screws that attach the shocks themselves or it won't come off.

The diff is no where close to the shock tower. You must have it confused for something else.

Does anyone know how to remove the front shock tower on the revo? The piece where the shock mount to, not the rockers. I took the screws out that hold it to the frame but now I don't know what to do to get it out.

How does the front shock tower mount come off after you take the screws out?

To remove the front shock tower, after the screws that attach from underneath the mount are out will it come out or do the screws that hold the shocks in the mount need to come out too. IceWindius is that what you meant? I totally overlooked that because I was too confused by the differential part of your post. Won't be till tomorrow that I get to see if that was the problem, if it is then it will be so funny.
