Default 3.3 vs picou

Has any one seen the picou perform next to the 3.3. Is it much better, or worth the the $70.00 diffrence in price. Im being tod it is a direct replacement for the 3.3 and a lot better quality. Any opinions would be helpful.

Hello,

The PICCO .26 maxx engine is a direct replacement for your Revo 3.3. You will need to buy a new engine mount(US$19.99).

Also a new pipe will benefit your new engine, I prefer the THS racing pipe(US$54.99)

The stock ClutchBell/SpurGear(15/38) combo has too much low end torque, I recommend you purchase a new 16 tooth Clutch Bell(US$11.99) and use 16/38 combo.

Once you have this engine installed you'll probably want a wheelie bar also, I recommend the NEW ERA MODELS wheelie bar.

I have the picco .26 maxx on my revo and my buddy still has the 3.3. There is no comparison. It will smoke the 3.3. It is definitely worth the extra money.

Can you keep the front wheels on the ground with the Picco ofna .26 max?????

I'm getting ready to upgrade but not sure what engine - I keep hearing great things about the .26.

Any other info out there would be great!

Keeping the front wheels on the ground should not be a problem using the right Clutch bell/Spur gear combo.

I use 15/36 which gives me lots of wheelie power, you can also use something like 17/36 which will probably not wheelie at all, or at least alot less.

You can also learn to control your throttle input, that will usually do the trick.

If I want it will wheelie whenever I want. If I don't want it to wheelie just ease into the throttle. I leave mine setup to where if I floor it, it will flip over backewards. I like that because it makes it alot funner to drive. You have to have more control over your truck and it will make you a better driver. Its fun to see how far you can ride one out without flipping.
