Default shift or not

what would make my truck hesitate when it shifts. if i don't let of the gas it stalls. but it doesn't do it all the time

it might be a wee bit lean just richin it up 1/16th or so of a turn (counterclockwise) and it should be ok,But if its rich you can tell by ALOT of blue smoke out of the exaust then lean it up a bit 1/16th or so (clockwise) then try it out..

If you have had this truck for a while the "paw" in the tranny maybe sticking . See your book on this piece.Clean lube and re-assemble.

Do you mean when it shifts from first to second while running fast?

If so, my first guess is you are a tad lean on the high end and it is flaming. Try richening the HSN 1/4 turn and see if it solves the problem. If HSN adjustments don't fix er up, then your going to need to investigate further, but first try richening the HSN.

I WAS CLEANNING MY TRUCK AND FOUND A WET SEAM. WOULD THIS BE CAUSING MY PROBLEM. THE TRUCK IS NEW AS ME
