Default tm523 problem

brand new motor I get it installed and go to do the linkage and the slide is binding really bad inside the carb. Any one have a similar problem or a solution? Its not the linkage its the carb slide. It moves free if you pull it straight out but the linkage attaches to the bottom and the slide moves up in the carb causing the binding. Im very frustrated considering the motor was almost three hundred bucks.[:@]

If it's in a Revo you may want to check this out from Impakt http://www.impaktrc.com/product_info...roducts_id=926
Rotating the carb may help...a lot of the time that's all it takes.

the tekno throttle linkage needs two holes to mount it, the stock engine mount has two holes you can use to mount the throttle linage so it will work with the stock engine mount, but the mount for the RB however only has one hole, so it will not work.
