Default revo shocks!! blek!

i have the stock revo springs with 37.5 wt. oil in them at the highest pushrods setting. its super low. the arms are lever with the ground. and they dont rebound.

then i put 70wt in the rear to see if there was a difference... and it was worse. it rebounded like half and inch. and then the front seemed stiffer than the back!!! and now the front rebounds fine. but the back sucks.

it has a wing to. so that adds weight

should i put stiffer springs on the compensate for the thicker oil?

and my friend has a 2.5r with p1 rockers, shock oil that hasnt been changed in like 2 years. and the extra springs it comes with. and his has amazing travel

think about it.... with thicker oil, it will be harder to push down, but it will take more force or push to make it rebound so you sill need a stiffer spring. its not so much the spring that adds resistance when the shock compresses, but the oil. to extend the shaft on the shock, it takes the spring. so thicker oil will need a stiffer spring depending on how high you want it to rebound.
