Default Glow Plug Question

I have a 3.3 T-Maxx and I have started going through Glow Plugs... I am on about the 20th tank... I run Byrons 25% and the Traxxas 3232X plugs... I have never messed with the factory settings.. should I take it back tight and then back it out 4 turns or what.... any and all help would be great.... the weather was around 50-60 now it is 80.... Tonight with only a 2 tank ran through plug I started it up.. it took a little longer than normal then it fired. It was running great but at full throttle it would almost die, bog out.....

Default RE: Glow Plug Question

If you've never touched the needles, it will be causing your engine to be too rich, so when you are at high speeds, the engine is partially flooding, making it almost die / bog out. What you want to do is lean out your high speed needle (HSN) 1/8 of a turn each time a do a few high speed runs and if you don't see any better in performance, slowlyleanyour low speed needle (LSN) 1/16 of a turn and repeat the high speed runs.

NOTE: It is also depended on your weather conditions. Look at page 32 of the manual for weather adjustments to the engine.

Hope this helps

EDIT:Everytime you bring out your truck, you will always need to do minor tuning to the engine.

Can the glow plug wire fit, or did you have to use a igniter?
