I'm looking for a Skymaster that is smaller than the Hostettler version...about 20 -22 pounds. Any sources?? No ARF's

Wish there was more information on the website........... Could be a good one but hard to tell...............
You are right about the Hostetler, it is huge. Here is a picture of one I am just finishing up. Hanger rash is a real problem with the components so large. Weights 49lbs.

The problem with the kit from RT Aerospace is the short kit is $699...at least that's the problem for me. They don't make the full kit any longer.

Paul, nice looking Skymaster, I'd love to see more pics and some info about it if you would feel like sharing it. That definitely will be impressive either on the flight line or in the air. Big is better even though the "hangar rash" is more severe.

You can keep your eye out for one of the old Royal/Marutaka kits. Plans and templates are readily available for auction. The wingspan is about 74" if I recall correctly.

Murphey,
You may wish to check out the kit made by AVIOMODELLI. It's an italian kit maker but they are available here in the USA. They do make a Skymaster. It may be about the size you are looking for. Also, the Royal Cessna Skymaster kit ( which I have) is about the size you are looking for. Both would be interesting for you to take a look at.
