Default Walkera # 37 LOOK

Should i get a walkera # 37 i will be upgrading it to brushless and li-po if i get it.

Align 430 brushless motor
Align 25 amp brushless esc
Align T-rex landing skids
Align T-rex Tail boom
Align T-rex Carbonfiber 315 pro main rotor blades
Align T-rex Carbonfiber Tail rotor blades
Align T-rex Tail mount rudder servo
Thunderpower 2070 3 cell 25 c discharge li-po
Triton li-po charger
Futaba reciver and Transmitter 9 C
Hs 50 for Rudder Hs 55 everything else

what do you guys think about this setup if you like it say yes if you dont say no i will fly the heli a few times on the stock setup then do all the upgrades, and does the helicopter do aerobatics? rolls,Loops.Inverted????

If your going thru all that trouble to upgade " Y " Buy a 37 at all ? Aren't you just building a Trex 450 anyway? Good Luck ...............................................Gre g

With all those parts I think better get a TREX450XL CDE kit.. it has all the upgrades that you are planning to use...

Check out the Walkera 37 forum here. You will find lots of good info and pics too.
I too am a DF37 owner and have done many upgrades, including a Align all metal
head made for the 450.

I've gotten slack concerning it, why not get a Trex 450? yes and no.

The 450 is superior , but in comparision in price with the parts on the
Df37, it's more expensive.

The entire body kit for the 450 will cost you around 115.00 dollars.

I crashed my Df37 baddly and killed my frame.. you know how much I spent
on replacing it? less than 30 bucks for the frame and other misc parts.

So it's simple math really. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

concerning using ALign parts? well that came out more of a necesity due to the fact,
some of us don't like to wait for mail order..it's not our fault Walkera copied most of the
designs from Align..the parts work and fit, and are available locally. thats not bad if you ask me..
