ELF Hobby ESC glitches
Hi.
I'm new to this forum and Helis. So hello to all.
I have a DF60. I have just upgraded my heli with a Elf Hobby 4200kv brushless and 30A ESC.
Since the upgrade it's doing some funny stuff!!! I'm guessing it's electrical noise from the motor interfering with the ESC.
Does anyone here have any experience of this motor and similar problems maybe???
Is there a fix???
I'd be most grateful for some help.
Many thanks all.

RE: ELF Hobby ESC glitches
Is that with the stock receiver? I had similar problems when I upgraded my DF36 with a Phoenix 35 ESC and was using the stock radio. Turns out the stock receiver is very noisy and can cause problems with more advanced programmable ESCs. I thought it was odd because before that I had a cheap-o Dynam ESC on there and no problems at all with the stock radio. After I upgraded the radio with a Futaba 6EXH TX and a HDX / Corona receiver I haven't had even a minor problem. It's also possible there's a bad connection between the motor and ESC.

Thanks Orion1024
Yes it is the stock receiver I'm using at the moment. I hadn't really thought of that. I assumed that it was noise from the motor. Is there any easy fix? I have seen a video on youtube showing the use of ferrite cores. Maybe this will work.
