Hi Dave thanks for the prop nut advice.

I'm currently swinging a 17x10 APC but it looks a little small with the 10" Gee Bee Y cowl. Could you recomend a larger prop size for the DZ? Is 20" to big?
Also what are the signs that an engine is overheating. Here in singapore we regularly fly with temps well over 30 c, and the air allowance with this model looks smallish, though the instructions say it is enough and not to alter.

BTW your tip that it would be rather loud with just a pipe was correct. Though it sounds so sweet I'm going to leave it as is!

You can run any size you want as long as the rpm is in the low 8000 range. Try it with the 17x10, you may be suprised by how well it performs.
