ZDZ 80RV TAC and Temp readings
Here some info:
WOT 6000-6020 RPM
Idle 1780-1840 RPM
Temp 160@idle-250@WOT
The readings were taken at various times though out a half hour run on the bench. Does anybody else have reading for their 80 RV? I'm really curious to see what you guy's think..
If something does not look rite please let me know..

ZDZ 80RV TAC and Temp readings
I measured similar temperatures at full throttle when I had my ZDZ-80 breaking in on a test stand.
What prop and muffler are you using?
With a J&A Pitts and a Menz-S 26x10 - 6500 rpm on a cold engine.

ZDZ 80RV TAC and Temp readings
I used a BCM pitts muffler and a Menz-S 26x10 prop. I was getting about the same rpm on a cold engine. About 6300 rpm cold. I also got a Menz Ultra I want to try, But I'm gonna wait until the motor is mounted on the plane.

Good readings, all is fine. Please be aware that a prolonged break-in on a bench is NOT advised. The best way to break the engine in is to actually fly it. Temps will be higher on a bench as well.
